According to The Athletic, Barca is about to reach an agreement to recruit Marcus Rashford from MU, who is not in the plan of coach Ruben Amorim.
Marcus Rashford waited to be transferred to Barca this summer after spending the second half last season on loan at Aston Villa. In May, Rashford's brother and representative arrived in Barcelona to negotiate with the Spanish champion about a possible deal.
Barca prioritized signing a contract with Nico Williams, who had just signed a new contract with Athletic Bilbao, while the deal of Luis Diaz was said to be too expensive, so the Catalan team returned to negotiating to recruit British players.

According to The Athletic, Barca has now made an offer to lend Rashford in the upcoming season and the agreement includes the terms of purchase. MU agreed with the proposal of the Spanish team, and the negotiations were in the final stage.
Rashford has now returned to England and is practicing separately, Barca's coach, Hansi Flick, also supported the club's efforts in signing a contract with Rashford.
When asked about the ability to sign a contract with the 27 -year -old in May, Flick replied: “I don't want to talk about the players not in my squad, but of course Luis Diaz and Marcus Rashford are great players. I like them and let's wait and see what will happen.”
Rashford may become Barca's second contract in the summer, after the Spanish champion triggered the terms of the $ 25 million contract release (£ 21.3 million) in Joan Garcia's contract with Espanyol last month.
