According to the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, striker Rasmus Hojlund will leave MU for Napoli when both clubs have reached an oral agreement to close the mission.
On the personal X page, Romano read the familiar “Here We Go” mantra with important information. Accordingly, Hojlund will join Napoli in the form of borrowed for 6 million euros, with the terms of purchase of 44 million euros.
Notably, this term of purchase will become mandatory if it meets certain conditions. It is not clear what the details of the conditions are. The Danish striker agreed to join Napoli a few days ago, and will conduct medical examination within the next 24 hours.
This is considered a big turning point for Hojlund after a difficult time at Old Trafford. The 22 -year -old star docked MU from Atalanta in the summer of 2023 for 77.8 million euros, which is expected to become the owner to lead the team.
However, what Hojlund can do in the Red Devils is probably just enthusiasm. After 95 appearances for MU, the Danish player only pocketed 26 -phase and 6 assists – a modest figure. With the presence of Benjamin Sesko this summer, Hojlund had no chance at MU and he knew that,
This striker himself understood that he needed to play regularly in the 2025/26 season, because in the summer next year, the World Cup finals will take place in North America. If still staying at the MU and the bench, Hojlund can completely be removed from the list of Danish Tel. So, the choice of leaving Hojlund is completely accurate.
Earlier, MU agreed to sell Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea. Now, the Red Devils will focus on liquidating the remaining “inventory”, including names like Jadon Sancho, Antony or Tyrell Malacia.
