Despite having a good chance to recruit Dusan Vlahovic, MU did not approach this striker but wanted to focus resources to recruit Benjamin Sesko.
MU decided to recruit Sesko
One of the deals pursued by MU this summer is Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig. The Slovenian striker was also excited about the possibility of landing at Old Trafford in the attention of many other teams.
Besides Sesko, MU also watched some other names, like Dusan Vlahovic or even Alexander Isak. Even Vlahovic is a possible plan that Man Utd can consider now.

Tuttosport reported that Juventus is making a very attractive price for Vlahovic. The Serbian striker did not hide his intention to leave Juventus this summer and the Turin team was listening to the offer of Vlahovic.
Vlahovic is less than a year with Juventus. “Old Lady” has recruited Jonathan David this summer and is also hoping to bring Randal Kolo Muorni back after a successful loan from PSG earlier this year.
This, Juventus wanted to push Vlahovic as soon as possible to avoid losing this striker next summer. Man Utd was offered, but Ruben Amorim's team was not interested in this striker.
Instead, MU wants to work hard to recruit Benjamin Sesko. Although the price for Sesko is certainly not pleasant and this deal is also risky. But MU still believes in the quality of the Slovenian striker.
MU will currently compete with Newcastle for Sesko's signature. There was that, Man Utd wanted to wholeheartedly pursue Sesko, instead of dispersing the focus on Vlahovic.
