Sources close to say that MU refused to sign a contract with a Chelsea star in an exchange agreement related to Alejandro Garnacho.
Garnacho is expected to leave Man United after losing his support under Ruben Amorim, and Stamford Bridge is a potential destination for the Argentinian.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Man United refused to sell Garnacho as part of the agreement regarding the young player Tyrique George of Chelsea. The 19 -year -old talented winger has scored 3 goals and has 5 assists in 26 appearances for Chelsea.
Garnacho personally wants to join Chelsea, but the Blues first needs to sell Nicolas Jackson or Christopher Nkunku to collapse the squad that is in excess of the offensive stars.
With MU, the goal of the Red Devils is to earn the maximum amount of possible money from Garnacho to ensure the revenue, avoiding the violation of the Financial Fair law when it lost a significant amount due to the failure to attend the European arena this season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea still hopes to complete the agreement with Garnacho because they are the only club that the 21 -year -old wants to join. However, the £ 30 million offer of the FIFA Club World Cup champion is still quite far from the valuation of about 45-50 million pounds of the MU host team.
Regarding Garnacho, the young Argentine was eliminated from Man United's squad in two English Premier League opening matches 2025/26. MU is said to be ready to “play snakes” with Chelsea in the Garnacho deal, when not in the water on the negotiating table and ready for the player to score 26 goals, 22 assists after 144 matches in the shirt of the first team to play at the reserve team.
