Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano read the familiar spell “Here We Go” to confirm the transfer of striker Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig to MU.
Accordingly, Romano wrote: “Benjamin Sesko officially joined Manchester United! Here We Go! The two clubs have reached a transfer fee of 76.5 million euros + 8.5 million euros.
Earlier yesterday, Sesko agreed to personal terms with Man United, although Newcastle also made a competition proposal. RB Leipzig initially prioritized selling Sesko to Newcastle, but due to the desire of this player, they had to agree with MU.
Although Sesko's specific salary has not been announced, traditionally, Man United often install the terms of “salary” for most players. A report from The Athletic last year said most of the squad received a 25% discount if the club could not win the right to play in the Champions League.
With the ideal body (1m95 high), the ability to finish neatly and move smartly, Sesko is considered an ideal piece for Man United's attack, which lacks a classy center since Cristiano Ronaldo left. Last season, the 21 -year -old striker scored 18 goals in 42 matches for Leipzig, showing great maturity in the Bundesliga.
After the deal is completed, Sesko will be the third quality rookie in MU's summer, opening up expectations for a strong rebellion under Ruben Amorim. Earlier, they had recruited Matheus Cuha and Bryan Mbeumo for a total price of £ 125 million (about 135 million euros).
The recruitment of Sesko is a strategic step of the MU leadership, in order to ensure the long -term future in the center – which has been a weakness for many years.
