Newcastle is having a busy and assertive summer in the transfer market when they not only pursue Hugo Ekitike but also suddenly send a record offer to the Young striker Enrick of Real Madrid.
Up to now, Newcastle has recruited two rookies, Antonito Cormero (freedom from Malaga) and Anthony Elanga (worth £ 55 million from Nottingham Forest). However, Chich Chu has put a series of top goals such as Matheus Cunha, Joao Pedro and the upcoming Bryan Mbeumo, the player on his way to Man United.
Facing the risk of continuing to lose important goals, Newcastle is fully devoted to Hugo Ekitike, the striker wearing Eintracht Frankfurt. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Newcastle had sent an official offer to Frankfurt, with a higher number of 70 million euros that another club had previously launched.
In addition, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, Newcastle sent a delegation to Germany to negotiate directly, in order to close the deal in July, the opening time of the new financial year.
However, with the fierce competition from Liverpool and Man United in the Ekitike deal, Newcastle's Board of Directors worried that he was in a unfavorable position in the race. Therefore, they quickly shifted to EnDrick.
According to Defensa Central, Newcastle offered a record transfer fee to convince Real Madrid to release (about 70 million euros). The British Club highly appreciated the ability to finish sharp and outstanding development potential of EnDrick, and treat him as an alternative if Ekitike fell into the opponent's hands.
However, the possibility of Real Madrid leaving Enrick is still unlikely, especially when coach Xabi Alonso considers him a part of the club's long -term project. In case there are enough people for attack, Los Blancos will also only lend the endrick, not sell off.
More than 3 weeks before the transfer window, Newcastle is rushing to reinforce the attack. And names like Ekitike or Enrick will continue to be the focus in coach Eddie Howe's “great tuition” plan this summer.
