In the match that took place at dawn on July 7 in Vietnam time, Nguyen Thuy Linh played determined from the beginning. However, the opponent Suizu quickly imposed the game with the ability to defend firmly and the sharp counter-attacks, helping the Japanese player to dominate and win the first game with the gap 21-12.
