Fenerbahce was about to successfully recruit Oleksandr Zinchenko when Arsenal lowered the price of Ukrainian defenders, he would work with Jose Mourinho next season.
Coach Jose Mourinho really wants to consolidate the Fenerbahce squad this summer after his team ranked second in the Turkish league last season, 11 points behind the Galatasaray champion. Former Chelsea coach, Real Madrid, MU and Tottenham were supported by BLD when brought back to many quality rookies, namely Jhon Duran, Sofyan Amrabat and Milan Skriniar.
But Mourinho is keeping an eye on the next contracts before the summer transfer window closed. The Turkish Journalist, Sercan Hamzaoglu, said Fenerbahce sent an official offer to Oleksandr Zinchenko and affirmed the negotiations that were progressing quickly.

Hamzaoglu also said Arsenal is asking about 13 million pounds for the player to enter the last 12 months of the contract at the Emirates Stadium. This figure is lower than that Arsenal requested in the early summer when AC Milan expressed interest in players 4 times the Premier League championship.
Fenerbahce's sports director, Devin Ozek, is said to have had a negotiation with both Zinchenko and his fellow Andrea Berga of Arsenal on the weekend to discuss an agreement.
Arsenal paid £ 30 million to sign a contract with Zinchenko from Man City in 2022 and this Ukrainian player was an indispensable member in Mikel Arteta's squad in the first two seasons in northern London, playing in the left -back position.
But Zinchenko had difficulty playing last season and Arsenal decided to sell him this summer.
