Real Madrid has not been able to recruit any rookie that Alonso asked

Real Madrid has not yet completed any of the three players that coach Xabi Alonso proposed from the time he was appointed to lead the club in April.

Alonso has been provided with three rookies, Alexander-Arnold, Huijsen and Mastastuono

Despite the starting term at the Bernabeu and debuting at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Alonso has not been fully met in terms of personnel. The three matches of Real in the US sold out, and the Spanish strategist used the almost strongest squad as possible.

Two rookies played regularly, Dean Huijsen (from Bournemouth) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (from Liverpool). Meanwhile, young talent Franco Mastastuono reached an agreement to join Real but could not sign officially until the 18th birthday on August 14.

However, according to AS, 3 important names that Alonso has asked the leadership to bring back from April to now have slipped from the reach of Real. The first name is Martin Zubimendi, Real Sociedad midfielder. Alonso appreciated the 25 -year -old compatriot as an ideal addition to the middle line, although the player was then into the final negotiation phase with Arsenal.

But the three goals that he has long requested are Zubimendi, Tah and Wirtz have failed

Now, Zubimendi's destination is almost certainly Emirates, when journalist David Ornstein revealed that he was present in England to complete the procedure to join the Gunners.

The second one that Alonso wanted to bring was Florian Wirtz, the 22 -year -old attack star of Bayer Leverkusen. Although Alonso has contacted Wirtz directly, the German player chose Liverpool for the original price of £ 100 million last week. Wirtz confirmed that it had been exchanged with Alonso but said “very happy to join Liverpool”.

The third goal is Jonathan Tah, the center -back that Alonso has trained at Leverkusen. TAH's contract with Leverkusen this summer maturity and he is rumored to follow Alonso to Real. However, the 30 -year -old center -back chooses to move to Bayern Munich in the free form.

The shortage of all three priority goals partly shows the difference in the transfer plan between Alonso and the Real Board of Directors, especially President Florentino Perez – who often prioritize commercial and long -term deals. With the current developments, Xabi Alonso will need more patience to shape its style in the Bernabeu style.
