Barcelona is planning to liquidate a number of players in the next few weeks to improve the financial situation and cut the salary fund, thereby meeting the 1 -to -1 exchange mechanism in La Liga.
Revealing the Barcelona star wants to liquidate this summer
Names like Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araujo were included in the list that could break up with the Camp Nou. However, the possibility of Araujo leaving the team now has decreased significantly.
Earlier this year, Ronald Araujo signed a new contract with Barcelona, after having intended to search for a new stop. In that agreement, the provision of his contract release was reduced to 60 million euros in the first two weeks of the summer transfer window, in order to create conditions for other clubs to access.
However, no team activated this provision and according to journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the provision has expired. Currently, Araujo's liberation clause has returned to 1 billion euros, which means that any team wants the Uruguayan center -back will have to negotiate directly with Barca.

This is a big barrier that makes Araujo's ability to leave almost no longer, especially when the DECO sports director is determined to keep this defense pillar. The fact that Araujo stayed also means that Barcelona will have to take into account the parting of another center -back, and that person is likely Andreas Christensen.
The Danish midfielder almost did not contribute many previous seasons due to constant injury and his current contract was only 1 year left. Although no club has made an official proposal for Christensen, but if they receive a reasonable proposal, Barcelona is willing to nod for the deal. However, the biggest obstacle is now on the side of the player, when Christensen is said to not be too salty, but leaving the Camp Nou.
