On July 7, Thanh Hoa Club officially launched the preparation stage for the V.League 2025/26 season with the first training session full of spirit. This training session has the appearance of a very special face. It was former national player, Luc Xuan Hung.

Luc Xuan Hung, born in 1995, is an elite product of Thanh Hoa Youth Training – a place famous for discovering and nurturing Vietnamese football talents. He launched the first team in 2015 when he was only 20 years old and quickly asserted his talent.
Only one year later, Xuan Hung took the main kick thanks to a solid, intelligent and determined play. However, serious injuries made him temporarily leave the pitch for a long time, marking a difficult period of career.
Without giving up, Xuan Hung returned strongly in the 2018 season. With impressive performance, he not only helped Thanh Hoa achieve positive results but also summoned to the Vietnamese team to attend the AFF Cup 2018 – the tournament that “Golden Dragon” won the championship. The name “Hung fat” has since become the beloved nickname that fans have for him, both showing the closeness and acknowledging the talent of this center -back.
After breaking up Thanh Hoa in 2021, Luc Xuan Hung started a new journey with challenges in the national first division. He took turns wearing PVF-Cand and Binh Phuoc Fresh School, where he became a pillar and contributed to making these teams achieved high positions on the rankings.
By the V.League season 2024/25, Xuan Hung joined Binh Dinh Club. Here, he continued to show his stable performance, played regularly in the first leg and contributed greatly to the impressive achievements of the martial team.
Luc Xuan Hung's return to Thanh Hoa is considered a strategic step of the club in the context of the defense of the team in need of quality addition after the departure of Dinh Tien Thanh and Nguyen Thanh Long. With the experienced experience and bravery that I practice through many seasons, Xuan Hung is expected to bring certainty and stability to the defense of Thanh.
Xuan Hung's contract with Thanh Hoa lasts two seasons, marking a new chapter in the center of the center -back. With experience, bravery and love for Thanh football, Xuan Hung promises to be the perfect piece to help Thanh Hoa conquer big goals in V.League 2025/26.
