Bastien was a name that was not too strange for international football fans when he used to play for Burnley and the team won the Championship season in 2022/23. The Congo player played 24 matches, scored 2 goals and had 1 assist in that season.
After helping Burnley win tickets to the Premier League, Bastien was lent to Kasimpasa (Türkiye). The midfielder in 1996 used to wear many big clubs in Europe. He played for Anderlecht and Standard Liege in the Belgian league. Bastien also has three seasons in Serie A in Chievo shirt with nearly 70 matches.
