'The prodigy pickleball' Quang Duong countered steelly: 'I do not quit the prize to make money'

The world's pickleball fans were really shocked after Duong Thien Quang (Quang Duong) was terminated by UPA. Recently, Quang Duong has shared this issue.

After being announced by the US Pickleball Association (UPA), the contract termination on July 13, the Vietnamese -original player Duong Thien Quang (also known as Quang Duong) had the first feedback on a Pickleball fanpage in Vietnam.

The Vietnamese -original player completely denied the information abandonment for commercial purposes, confirming the reason for the absence was notified in advance and not violating any terms in the contract.

“I did not quit the prize to make money. Two months ago, I asked for a break with the Mad Drops team due to a minor surgery in the nose and needed recovery time from July 1 to July 15. During this time, I went on vacation and participated in a number of exchanges with fans in Vietnam. Everything is transparent, does not violate the contract terms,” Quang Duong commented under a social article.

According to UPA, the decision to cut the contract was made after many financial warnings and financial sanctions, because Quang Duong was thought to violate the exclusive terms, and provide inaccurate information, affecting the prestige of the tournament.

However, Quang Duong said that the deep cause was due to disagreements in the negotiation process to extend the contract. He said the upa side “tied the legs”, so it led to the current outcome.
