According to ESPN, Cristhian Mosquera has reached personal agreement with Arsenal from last month. Although Valencia tried to retain the 21 -year -old center -back with a new contract, the sources from England and Spain both affirmed that the transfer has progressed rapidly over the weekend.

Sharing with Marca, Mosquera choked out the goodbye: “Valencia is my home, and forever like that. I came here when I was 12 years old, now I leave as an adult man.”

The newspaper also said that Mosquera officially said goodbye to his teammates on Monday.

“I was a bit sad because my whole life was attached to this place, but football was like that. Now it is the beginning of a new chapter. A little excited, but there is no shortage of regret.”

Although not revealed the next destination, all signs show that Arsenal will be a new stop of the Spanish young star. In the last 2 seasons, Mosquera had 73 appearances in La Liga, impressed by the solid gameplay, the ability to read smart situations and rare calmness in a young player.
