According to Fichajes, the Barcelona leadership actively planned to replace and are considering recruiting one of the three strikers: Haaland (Man City), Alvarez (Atletico) or Isak (Newcastle) in the summer transfer window 2026.
If only considering the achievement of scoring in the domestic league last season, Alexander Isak was the leader with 23 goals, surpassing both Haaland (22 goals) and Alvarez (17 goals). Not only that, Newcastle's striker is also the most assist among the three – 6 times, more than Alvarez (4) and Haaland (3). On average, Isak contributes 0.95 goals or created every 90 minutes, the highest statistics in the group.
Regarding the ability to participate in the gameplay, Haaland is still a pure penalty assassin.
