President Sporting CP, Mr. Frederico Varandas, has recently acknowledged the great possibility that Viktor Gyokeres will break up with the team this summer.

In an interview with A Bola newspaper, Frederico Varandas did not avoid the prospect of losing the main star: “If I ask me now, the possibility of Viktor leaving is very high. In recent weeks, we have followed the market and witnessed a player like Zubimendi, six -month -old Viktor, moved to Arsenal for 65 million euros.”
Not stopping there, Mr. Varandas also only listed the recent deals in the Premier League to make a price for any team that wanted Gyokeres's signature: “I see Matheus Cunha and Mbeumo, the players, from my personal point of view, are not as class as Viktor, sold for about 75 million euros. They are 26 years old, equivalent to Viktor. So, if someone wants him, they must be ready to spend the right number.”
With a contract release fee of up to 100 million euros and the time limit is tied to June 2028, Sporting is clearly not easy to be forced. Varandas even sarcasm:
“Unless Viktor has the worst representative in the world, what I don't believe, he will leave. Because he is one of the best players in the world.”
Both Manchester United and Arsenal are following this deal. However, the high demand price of Sporting is still a big barrier.
