After Antony, Betis recruited a former MU star


After completing the purchase of Antony from MU, Betis signed a contract with midfielder Sofyan Amrabat – a former Red Devil player.

On the last day of the summer transfer, Betis spent 22 million euros recruiting Antony from MU, signing a contract to 2030. However, the representative of La Liga also wanted to strengthen the middle line and the person they chose was Amrabat.

At more than 11 o'clock at night (local time), Betis confirmed that they had signed a contract with Amrabat in the form of borrowing a season from Fenerbahce. Earlier, the Morocco star was rumored to join Sevilla, but this mission did not happen.

Amrabat meets the requirements of Betis: an experienced European player, used to wear Feyenoord, Club Brugge, Hellas Verona, Fiorentina, MU and the closest to Fenerbahce.

Before coming to Betis, Amrabat had 45 appearances for Fenerbahce, scoring 3 goals and 4 assists. The reputation of the 29 -year -old midfielder is known after the 2022 World Cup finals – where he played dazzling in the Morocco shirt.
