According to Portugal's A Bola, Arsenal requested a transfer fee of 30 million euros (£ 26 million) to Jakub Kiwior, who was concerned by Porto.

The team of Mikel Arteta signed a contract with the Polish player from Spezia with a value of 20 million pounds in January 2023. Last season, Kiwior only played 10 matches in the Premier League and had difficulty competing with William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes in the center of defense.
The 25 -year -old was rumored to be moved this summer, although Arteta wanted to keep the defender to stay to ensure the depth of the squad. A Bola reported that Porto had approached Kiwior this summer but the Portugal team was very disappointed when the Gunners requested a fee of 30 million euros (£ 26 million).

Porto did not pursue Kiwior, but instead decided to sign a contract with Jan Bednarek for 7.5 million euros (£ 6.5 million) from Southampton. Speaking in May, Arteta praised Kiwior for his performance while Gabriel had to sit out for a ribbed injury.
Kiwior will play with Saliba in the opening match of Arsenal against MU on August 17 because Gabriel is still treating injury, he has not played once in the Gunners's friendly match in the summer of 2025.
Some sources also revealed that Jakub Kiwior could return to Italy, where he was concerned by Juventus and two teams of Milan. However, if Arsenal still holds 30 million euros for this player, the Italian teams will also have to give up like Porto.
