Accordingly, Cristhian Mosquera joined Arsenal under a 5 -year contract. The 21 -year -old defender moved from Valencia, where he had 90 appearances in all competitions.

Cristhian has been enrolled in Valencia's academy at the age of 12, progressing through the young level before launching the first team at Copa Del Rey in January 2022 at the age of 17. Before the 2023/24 season, Cristhian was officially tried on the first team and quickly became an important part of the club's defense. Last season, Cristhian played in 37/38 matches at the championship, playing all all minutes in the appearance.
Born in Spain and also eligible for Colombia, Cristhian had 34 appearances for Spanish youth teams from U15 to U21. He is also a member of the Olympic Games team to win the Gold Medal at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France.
