Burnley signed a contract with center -back Axel Tuanzebe on the form of free transfer after the former MU star's contract with Ipswich Town expired.
Tuanzebe had 45 appearances in all competitions while wearing Ipswich and a pillar to help the Premier League promotion club 2024/25. In the last season, the 27 -year -old had 22 appearances for Ipswich.
Unfortunately, Tuanzebe could not help Ipswich relegation successfully. Shortly thereafter, Tuanzebe also said goodbye to Ipswich and arrived at the other rookie of the Premier League 2025/26 as Burnley.
According to the British press, defender Cheno signed a one -year contract with the Turf Moor club club and became the third rookie of coach Scott Parker this summer.
Before Tuanzebe were 2 rookies Quantschy Hartman and goalkeeper Max Weiss. Talking about joining Burnley, Tuanzebe emphasized: “It was a very simple decision after talking to the coach and the message was very clear, accurate and went straight to the problem. This is a new chapter for me. I am ready to continue my journey in Burnley.”
Growing up from MU training, Tuanzebe had 37 appearances for the Red Devils but the influence of injury caused his career at Old Trafford to stop.
After that, Tuanzebe used to play for Aston Villa, Napoli and Stoke City on a loan, before joining Ipswich and now Burnley. According to the schedule, Burnley will start the 2025/26 Premier League campaign with a competition with Tottenham on August 16.
