Coach Cesc Fabregas officially owned Maximo Perrone, who was borrowed by Man City by Man City last season. His impressive performance made the Como Club decided to buy this talented midfielder.
This agreement was released after coach Cesc Fabregas and BLD como were completely convinced by the performance of the Argentine player last season.
It was the time when Maximo Perrone played for Como in loan. The como will pay Man City the transfer fee of 15 million euros with the preferred acquisition. In addition, Man City will receive 30% of the transfer fee if Como sells Perrone in the future.
In the 2024/25 season, Perrone was an important factor that helped Como reached the 10th position in Serie A. Despite having to take a break for a while because of injury and only play 26 matches, he still has a total number of minutes than the previous season in Las Palmas.
The midfielder has contributed 3 assists and is more important to impress the como coach. It was Perrone's persistence and versatility that persuaded coach Cesc Fabregas and the Board of Directors to decide to buy him.
Maximo Perrone joined Man City in 2022 for 10 million euros from Argentina's Velez Sarsfield Club. Although only 2 appearances for the first team of coach Pep Guardiola in the 2022/23 season, he is still part of the Man City squad to make a historic “treble” and is highly appreciated by Pep.
Perrone is also named on the list of the European Super Cup 2023 before lent by Las Palmas. There, he had 30 appearances in La Liga.
Perrone shared when he broke up with Man City: “My time at Man City ended, but I would like to thank everyone at the club for supporting and instructing me in the priceless time at the Academy.
