Chelsea successfully recruit Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton


According to the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea reached an agreement to recruit midfielder Facundo Buonanotte on loan from Brighton.

Earlier, Chelsea prioritized signing contracts with Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons, and temporarily postponed the recruitment of a new defender to focus on thorough upgrading for the attack. However, because Simons joined Tottenham with a contract worth 60 million euros from RB Leipzig, forcing Chelsea to adjust. Good news for Chelsea when Garnacho is almost sure to become a Chelsea player this summer.

Due to the health of Cole Palmer, Chelsea felt a shortage in the attacking midfielder, so the decision to recruit Buonanotte – the player was also being noticed by Leeds. Because Brighton has no plans to sell Buonanotte, the deal will be a loan contract that is not accompanied by the terms of purchase. According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is Buonanotte's top choice if leaving Brighton.

Buonanotte will succeed at Chelsea?

It is expected that Buonanotte will compete at the No. 10 position at Chelsea with Cole Palmer, playing an important role in the team's attack tactic under coach Enzo Maresca.
