Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo continues to show influence in the transfer at Al Nassr, with the proposal to recruit left -back Marc Cucurella of Chelsea.
According to Marca, the Portuguese superstar wants Cucurella to join the Saudi Pro League team, when witnessing Al Hilal and many other competitors who are shopping frantically. Therefore, Ronaldo asked Al Nassr at all costs to recruit Cucurella to upgrade the club's left corridor. Ronaldo's request will cause many difficulties for Al Nassr.
Cucurella is an important factor of Chelsea. Joining from Brighton in 2022, the Spanish defender used to compete with Ben Chilwell but now becomes the first choice in the left corridor. Last season, he played 54 matches in all competitions, including 36 main plays in the Premier League. He has just contributed greatly to help Chelsea win the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
Cucurella also contracted with Chelsea until June 2028, and was a pillar of coach Enzo Maresca and fans at Stamford Bridge. Moreover, Chelsea did not lack money, they were not under pressure to sell and Cucurella had no intention of leaving. Thus, the ability to let Al Nassr convince the London team is quite low.
It is likely that Ronaldo has to be satisfied with only Felix joining the team, because until now, the goals that Al Nassr targets have not come to them for many different reasons.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has just revealed, striker Joao Felix will join Al Nassr since the 2025/26 season for 30 million euros. The total transfer fee that Chelsea received in this deal was about 50 million euros. In addition, Chelsea will also enjoy a certain percentage when Al Nassr sell Felix in the future.
