Galatasaray detonated 'blockbuster' osimhen, must comply with the terms

The transfer of Victor Osimhen was finally completed, when Napoli and Galatasaray reached an agreement worth 75 million euros, with a special term to prevent the Nigerian striker from returning to Serie A until 2027.

Osimhen will officially be Galatasaray's people

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Galatasaray will pay 40 million euros in advance for Napoli, the rest of 35 million euros will be paid before 2026. However, the most special feature of the agreement is the “anti -Italy” provision.

Specifically, if Galatasaray sells Osimhen to any Serie A club before 2027, they will have to pay double the transfer to Napoli, or 150 million euros instead of 75 million euros as the current agreement.

This is the ending step for the turbulent farewell between Osimhen and Napoli after this club won the Serie A season 2022/23. Despite being a symbol in that historical championship, Osimhen was gradually pushed to the edge and increasingly distant with the team, especially after many rumors of transfer in the summer of 2023.

The love affair between Osimhen and Napoli has ended

During the lending time in Galatasaray, Osimhen played impressively in Türkiye, making the Istanbul club determined to buy him. However, the price is too high and the financial security requirements from Napoli have made the deal lasting until now.

The president of Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis, is the one who adds the term “not returning to Serie A” to prevent Osimhen from wearing a domestic opponent in the near future.

Meanwhile, Napoli is strengthening the new season by recruiting striker Lorenzo Luca from Udinese for a borrowed fee of 9 million euros, with a term of purchase of 26 million euros.
