PSG is going very close to reaching an agreement to recruit goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier from Lille, thereby making Gianluigi Donnarumma's future uncertain.
According to Footmercato, PSG reached an oral agreement to recruit Lucas Chevalier, 23 -year -old goalkeeper of Lille. The deal has raised the question of Donnarumma's position, when he only had 1 year to contract with the French capital team.
Although everything is becoming tense, Donnarumma has not left and will continue to stick with PSG unless receiving an ideal offer, as revealed by journalist Fabrice Hawkins.
Hawkins said the representative of Donnarumma is actively seeking new choices, including the attention from Man United, Man City, Galatasaray and some clubs in Saudi Arabia.
However, the 26 -year -old goalkeeper still feels like sticking to the project that coach Luis Enrique is building and will not easily leave without the full conditions he wants. Within PSG, there have been discussions that both Chevalier and Donnarumma will compete fairly for the main capture in the next season.
The appearance of Chevalier was originally considered to be the first step in the transfer process of the No. 1 guard position at PSG. However, coach Luis Enrique has not made the final decision and Donnarumma can continue to play an important role if staying. The class and experience of the Italian goalkeeper still makes him a valuable asset of the team.
