Although there has been no official announcement, the experts believe that coach Nguyen Cong Manh will be the leader of Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club in the 2025/26 season. This is considered a decisive decision of the Board of Directors of the Hong Nui team, after the unexpected departure of coach Nguyen Thanh Cong.

The farewell of coach Nguyen Thanh Cong after the V.League season 2024/25 left a large space. Mr. Cong has built a resilient, identity, and finding a successor to a great challenge. However, it seems that Ha Tinh has found an answer right in “the old”: Coach Nguyen Cong Manh.
After completing the contract, coach Nguyen Cong Manh quickly debuted the students and expected to have the first training session next week. This is not the first time Mr. Manh has been with the Hong mountain team.
This former SLNA player has more than 4 years of experience as an assistant for both coach Pham Minh Duc and coach Nguyen Thanh Cong in Ha Tinh. The understanding of the team, the people and the philosophy of Ha Tinh is an undeniable advantage of coach Manh.
After leaving Ha Tinh at the end of the 2022/23 season to cultivate with a professional coach (Pro), Mr. Manh had time to be an assistant for coach Hoang Anh Tuan at U23 Vietnam. Especially, in the 2024/25 season, Mr. Manh used to take on the role of assistant, then the head coach of Becamex Binh Duong.
Although the journey at the Thu Thu team is incomplete and must break up after the 1-3 defeat BC in Ha Tinh itself in the round 21, those valuable experiences will certainly help him a lot in the new role.
Coach Nguyen Cong Manh's return is considered a reasonable decision of the leadership of Ha Tinh. Not only fully meets the requirements of qualifications (Pro) for the coaches in V.League, Mr. Manh is also elected by coach Nguyen Thanh Cong before leaving.
