Center -back NAT Phillips has completed the deal to join West Brom, ending 9 years with Liverpool. On the side of Anfield, they also thanked Phillips.
Nat Phillips joined Liverpool from Bolton Wanderers in 2016. In the 2020/21 season, NAT Phillips performed very well in Liverpool in the context of Virgil Van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez all had to sit out because of serious injuries.
He was given the opportunity by coach Jurgen Klopp with 20 appearances in all competitions. He was even voted as the club's best player in March 2021.
But in the following seasons, the British center -back only played a total of 8 matches for The Reds. He was lent in Bournemouth, Celtic, Cardiff, Derby County and West Brom.
Not much time for Liverpool, many fans probably forget the name Nat Phillips. The last time he played for The Reds was in January 2023.
Recently, the 28 -year -old star officially broke up with Anfield to join West Brom on the form of free transfer. He signed a 3 -year contract with West Brom.
Liverpool thanked Nat Phillips and wish him the best in the future.
Meanwhile, West Brom's sports director Andrew Nestor said: “NAT will strengthen West Brom's defense next season. He is entering the highest peak of his career. Hopefully he will continue to sublimate at West Brom.”
Next season, NAT Phillips will play with West Brom in Championship. The goal of The Baggies is to win tickets to the Premier League 2026/27.
