Notably, Helland's representative is also considered to be at this match. That sparked speculation that there was an initial contact between Manchester United and the representative of this young player. However, Helland proved quite calm at the transfer information.

Sharing with VG, Helland said: “I haven't thought much about Manchester United. Everything is just a normal part of the football world.”

When asked if he intended to leave, he replied: “I am very calm. I feel comfortable here and my plan is to continue to stick with Brann. I will try to play well for the team.”

The fact that Manchester United is interested in Helland shows that coach Ruben Amorim is expanding the scope of searching personnel this summer. Up to now, he has welcomed two rookies, Mathius Cuha and Diego Leon, and the name EiVind Helland may be the next piece for the HR revolution at Old Trafford.
