Center -back Marc Guehi is said to have rejected all proposals for extension from Crystal Palace after the transfer to Liverpool in the summer broke down.

President Steve Parish admitted that the club needs to finish the future of Guehi this summer, one is for sale, the other is to extend the contract. However, the 25 -year -old decided to not renew and expected to leave in the form of free in the summer of the following year, when the contract matured.
Liverpool is certainly still a heavy candidate, but the fact that Guehi becomes a free player will attract widely throughout the Premier League and Europe. Arsenal has watched former Chelsea center -back, while Real Madrid and Barcelona are also considered potential stops. Despite the uncertain future, Guehi has never refused to play and showed no negative signs in the attitude of competition.

Notably, Liverpool had reached an agreement worth 35 million pounds with Palace and Guehi who passed the medical examination. The club even prepared the farewell video, but the deal suddenly broke down. Palace then targeted Igor Julio (Brighton) instead, but he chose to go to West Ham. After the tense debate between coach Oliver Glasner and President of Park, Palace decided to hold Guehi to avoid the risk of the coach resigning.
