MU announced recruiting senne lampens

The MU homepage reported that the club had signed a contract until 2030 with goalkeeper Senne Lambens from Royal Antwerp.

MU successfully recruited senne lampens

For the service of Lampens, MU must pay Antwerp the amount of 21 million euros including surcharges.

The 23 -year -old goalkeeper went to Manchester to conduct medical examination before officially signing the contract. Thus, the concern of MU goalkeeper's position has temporarily relieved with the presence of Lampens.

Earlier, there was information that MU also pursued Aston Villa Dibu Martinez. However, with the purchase of Lambens, the world champion will not dock Old Trafford. According to some sources, Martinez is negotiating with Galatasaray.

Senne Lambens

Back to Lambens, he owns an ideal height of 1m93. This goalkeeper joined Royal Antwerp from Club Brugge in 2023 in a free form. So far, Lampens has had 64 appearances for Royal Antwerp, conceding 86 goals and 12 clean sheets.

Currently, MU has 3 goalkeepers including Andrre Onana, Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton. However, none of these really made coach Ruben Amorim satisfied. Heaton was too old, so most of them only contributed experience behind the scenes, while Onana and Bayindir were not sure.

Hopefully, with Lambens, MU will have peace of mind in the wooden frame. However, to be honest, the minus point in this mission is that the Lampens has no peak experience, especially in a terrible harsh environment like the Premier League.
