MU is approaching an important timeline on the transfer market, opening up the opportunity to complete a series of major deals in the summer of 2025. Accordingly, the Red Devils can announce up to 3 rookies next week.
Up to the present time, Matheus CuHa is the only contract to arrive at Old Trafford under coach Ruben Amorim. Although the transfer market is open from June 16 and lasts until September 1, the next June 30 marks the time of closing the financial book of the year according to the Premier League profit & sustainability (PSR) regulations. Starting from July 1, the financial situation will be “restarted”, helping clubs to have more space to operate strongly in the market.
One of the deals that are expected to be announced at the beginning of July is Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. MU made an offer worth about 63 million pounds, in the context of Tottenham also pursued the Cameroon star.
Although Brentford rejected MU's second offer, Mbeumo just wanted to join the Red Devils, and all agreements could be completed and published immediately after passing the PSR barrier.
In addition to Mbeumo, MU also targets a high -class striker. The most prominent goal is Viktor Gyokeres – the main striker of Sporting Lisbon. The Swedish player has a contract to break the contract worth 100 million euros (85 million pounds), but can be purchased for about 60 million pounds if the club makes a reasonable offer.
Gyokeres is said to be ready to leave Portugal to try in the Premier League, and MU is the most potential destination from the beginning of the summer.
In addition, Emiliano Martinez – the number one goalkeeper of Aston Villa – is also in the sight. Although MU currently owns Andrre Onana, Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton, the future of at least one of them is unclear.
If MU is serious with Martinez, they will have to wait until July 1 to make an official proposal. Villa's valuation for the Argentine goalkeeper is about 40 million pounds.
Thus, if everything happens as planned, MU can publish three cult contracts worth a total of 163 million pounds next week – marking a real start for the ambitious transfer campaign under the Ruben Amorim dynasty.
