Newcastle confirmed the signing of a contract with striker Younge Wissa from Brentford on the last day of the summer transfer window 2025.

Younge's career began with the Chateauroux French club, he grew up from the young team of this team before moving to Angers in 2016. Wissa was lent at Laval and Ajaccio, but it was not until he joined Lorient in January 2018, he began to make his imprint.
Younge helped Lorient from Ligue 2 to play in Ligue 1, where he scored 10 goals, before moving to Brentford, the team also won tickets to play in the English Premier League in 2021.
