In a newly released notice on the homepage, the Nghe team voiced confirmation that the midfielder Dinh Xuan Tien came to play for the Cong – Viettel in the 2025/26 season.
True to the previous speculation of the press, SLNA Club agreed to let Viettel use Dinh Xuan Tien in the V.League 2025/26 season on loan.
This was confirmed by the Nghe team on the morning of July 16: “The Lam Nghe An River Club would like to announce that the player Dinh Xuan Tien will move to play for the public – Viettel club on loan.

Dinh Xuan Tien (born in 2003) is one of the most promising young talents of Nghe football in particular and Vietnamese football in general. He was promoted to the first team SLNA from the age of 18, with 4 seasons of the V.League competition with 72 appearances and scored 11 goals for SLNA.
At the team level, he won the 32nd SEA Games bronze medal and especially in the U23 team of Vietnam U23 teams won the title of U23 Southeast Asia in 2022 and 2023. The individual player even conquered the 'top scorer' in the Southeast Asia U23 tournament 2023.
Although it is considered a promising young player, Dinh Xuan Tien has encountered many obstacles in the process of career development in SLNA. He was once in internal discipline, had to go to practice with the youth team because of some problems in life and training, causing him to lose the official position at some time.
Although there was an improvement in the second leg of the V.League 2024/2025, the departure could now be a positive turning point for him to refresh himself, thereby gradually affirming the capacity after a volatile season.
With SLNA farewell to Dinh Xuan Tien, this is also an opportunity for other young players of Nghe's team such as Van Binh, Le Van Quy or Nguyen Trong Son to be given the opportunity to assert themselves.
On the side of Viettel, the presence of Dinh Xuan Tien promises to bring creativity and mutations in the attack of the soldier's team, thereby contributing to the strong rebuilding plan of Popov at V.League 2025/2026, in order to end the empty season over the past 4 years.
