Real Madrid continued to strengthen forces with the recruitment of 20 -year -old striker Rachad Fettal from Almeria.
The young Morocco striker became the fourth rookie of Los Blancos this summer, after Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Franco Mastastuono.
Fettal signed a 3 -year contract, joined from Almeria – the club playing in the Spanish Second Division. The deal was confirmed through an official post on the old team X.
“Ud Almeria and Real Madrid have reached the Rachad transfer agreement. We wish you the best things in the new journey, good luck!”, Almeria announced.
In the immediate future, Fettal will be taken to the Real Madrid Castilla team, led by former player Alvaro Arbeloa. Last season, this player played 14 matches in the Second Division, including 13 times on the bench, scoring 1 goal and having 1 assist.
In other developments, Real Madrid is also close to recruiting left -back Alvaro Carreras from Benfica for about 50 million euros.
Carreras joined Benfica from Man United in May last year after a borrowed time, and was activated by the Portuguese Club.
This Spanish U21 player played 50 matches in the 2024/25 season, helping Benfica win the Portuguese League Cup and second in the league after Sporting Lisbon. He also appeared twice at the 2025 Club World Cup.
In the opposite direction, Real Madrid confirmed Victor Munoz moved to Osasuna for a fee of about 6 million euros. Munoz had debuted Real Madrid in the defeat of Barca in the El Clasico match on 11/5, and also played at the Club World Cup against Al Hilal. However, he will continue his career at Pamplona Club from the next season.
