Arsenal is still negotiating Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon, but the Gunners have not been able to successfully recruit Swedish players.
Earlier this week, it was reported that the Gunners won the race to win Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon, whereby Arsenal and Portugal's team reached an agreement on the transfer price of this player.
However, Arsenal has not been able to announce the recruitment of the former Brighton player. The Portuguese newspaper Record reported that it is likely to be an agreement to sign a contract with Arsenal's Gyokeres that can be completed this weekend.

The two teams were only a fees of 2.5 million euros apart (2.1 million pounds). Arsenal agreed to pay Sporting 63.5 million euros plus 10 million euros fees to get Gyokeres's signature. The cost of 2.5 million euros is said to be involved in 10 million euros of surcharges.
Sporting thinks that some additional fees are hard to get, and do not accept those requirements. Arsenal is currently trying to unify with Sporting about this fee, and when the two sides reach the agreement, the agreement will be completed.
