Chelsea has reached an agreement to recruit winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from Borussia Dortmund. The value of the contract is about 55 million pounds (65 million euros), including surcharges.
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, 19, is one of the brightest young talents in England. Joining the Dortmund training furnace since 2020 after the time of competing for Man City Academy, the player born in 2004 was quickly promoted to the first team and impressed with the speed, technique and confidence in the ball handling phase.
After 107 appearances for the German team, Gittens scored 17 goals and 14 assists. In the last 2024/25 season, he had 49 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund, scored 12 goals and contributed 5 assists, contributing to help the Ruhr team to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
