World boxing has just witnessed a peak match between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois. In the rematch at Wembley, Ukrainian boxers once again showed a superior level.
The rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois, took place two years after the first encounter, once again showed the superior level of Ukrainian boxers. Earlier, USYK defeated Dubois with knock-out in the 9th half, thereby winning 6 heavy titles in a historic match.
This time, USYK stepped onto the floor as the owner of the three WBO, WBA and WBC belts after the victory over Tyson Fury. His opponent – Dubois – is not a hand while holding the IBF belt thanks to the victory over Anthony Joshua.
However, despite carefully prepared, Dubois still could not resist the strength and superior flexibility of Usyk. Right from the first two rounds, the Ukrainian punch showed the ability to get out accurately, causing Dubois to stagger after a left hand at the end of the second half.
The third half witnessed Dubois's counterattack effort with a right hand punch hit the opponent's chin. But USYK was almost not honestly and immediately responded with a string of sharp counterattacks. A dangerous left hook made Dubois be forced to step back to the defense, even though before the end of the match ended, the British boxer also scored a highlight with a good right hand punch.
Starting from the fourth half, USYK switched to a counterattack and constantly dodged the effectiveness of the opponent's pressing phase. Meanwhile, Dubois can only score with punches on the body, not powerful enough to cause significant damage.
In the middle of the 5th half, Dubois revealed a loophole and was immediately punished by USYK with an accurate hook. Although he got up, he continued to stick to the left hook to hit his chin and this time could not stand up. The referee announced the victory of knock-out for Usyk after 5 rounds.
This victory helped Oleksandr USYK officially unify all 4 prestigious heavy championships and extend the unbeaten achievement with 24 wins, including 15 knockout victories.
As planned, USYK will enter the WBO belt defense against Joseph Parker – New Zealand boxer who owns a series of 6 consecutive victories. This talent has been scheduled before but must be postponed to make room for the match against Dubois.
