Mu recruited Calvert-Lewin in the form of freedom?

MU is considering a surprising move when she wants to recruit Dominic Calvert-Lewin on the form of free transfer after the striker leaves Everton.

MU is planning to recruit Calvert-Lewin for free

In the context of caution spending strategy that is dominating the summer transfer activities, coach Ruben Amorim is said to want to strengthen the fairly risky but high potential contracts, and Calvert-Lewin is a name that suits that criterion.

According to The Sun, preliminary negotiations were conducted to bring the former Everton striker to Old Trafford – an opportunity to help Calvert -Lewin return to the Premier League stage light after a few decline seasons.

Although no longer reached the peak form, the 27 -year -old still attracted Amorim, especially when looking back on the period from 2019 to 2021, when he was one of the most promising striker in the tournament, scoring more than 10 goals per season for many consecutive years.

Man United believes that the combination of bodybuilding, air battle and Premier League experience makes Calvert-Lewin a useful plan, especially in the current situation of a striker with strong dispute.

Amorim also plans to significantly purify the striker. Names like Rasmus Hojlund, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho or Antony have been included in the list that can leave the club. If MU succeeds in selling these players, Calvert-Lewin can be awarded the role of strategic reserve or rotating, adding depth to the attack.

However, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, negotiations are currently pausing due to the high salary required from Calvert-Lewin. The British striker wants to significantly increase the income of 100,000 pounds/week received at Everton, taking advantage of the free position to negotiate a lucrative contract.

The MU side is only ready to propose bonuses according to performance to minimize financial risks, and will not accept all requirements if other main goals have not failed or Calvert-Lewin does not reduce salary requirements in the final phase of the market.

With Matheus CuHa, it is likely to lead the attack and Man United is still pursuing Bryan Mbeumo, Calvert-Lewin is not expected to play regularly. Even so, he could still bring an important tactical depth, and MU had an experienced striker without having to spend on transfer.

This may be a mutual affordable deal, if Calvert-Lewin is ready to lower the salary and accept the support role in the Red Devil's Renaissance effort.
