MU is willing to exchange players with Brighton, thereby persuading a seafarer to discount midfielder Carlos Baleba in the summer of 2025.
Cameroon, Carlos BaleBa is said to be MU's top transfer target for the midfielder position this summer. The 21 -year -old has had two impressive seasons in Brighton since moving from Lille for £ 23 million in 2023.
BaleBa only played 21 times for Lille in Ligue 1, but quickly became one of the most appreciated midfielders in the Premier League. MU spent nearly 200 million pounds for attacking players this summer, bringing Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cuha to Old Trafford.

But coach Ruben Amorim is aware of the holes in his midfield, and wants a new midfielder to join the team. BaleBa meets a lot of MU standards and in The Independent, he expressed his desire to be transferred to Old Trafford.
But Brighton confirmed that they wanted to keep BaleBa at the club at least one season and if they sold, they would expect to receive at least £ 100 million. Also according to The Independent, MU is trying to complete the agreement.
An option is said to use Jadon Sancho as a bait in this deal, although Brighton is said to not care about MU's winger. Sancho has had a negotiation with a number of Serie A clubs this summer, but has not yet found a new stop.
Because Balea has 3 years of contract with Brighton, the bullet only accepts negotiations if they receive a reasonable proposal. In case Brighton did not agree to exchange Sancho, MU would have to sell this player with Alejandro Garnacho and Antony to hope to have a budget to recruit BaleBa.
