MU will continue to pursue Carlos BaleBa during the season after canceling asking to buy midfielder of Brighton payroll in the “summer market” in the summer team, the Amex team requires too high transfer fee.
The Athletic reported on August 15 that Man United no longer pursued BaleBa after knowing the huge price that Brighton asked. The source said that Brighton claimed the amount of £ 115 million, equal to what they received from the transfer of Moises Caicedo to Chelsea.
Of course this is a large transfer fee and the Reds are not willing to meet Brighton's requirements. The BLD itself does not want to sell the top star in the South, and that has led to a stalemate in negotiations.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently reported that despite ending the pursuit of BaleBa this year, Man United is still watching this excellent midfielder and will probably return to a new offer to sign a contract with the Cameroon player next summer. Coach Rubem Amorim admired this young talent and considered him the perfect choice for his system.
Although not recruiting BaleBa, Man United still did very well in the happening period, at least in terms of consolidating the attack. They recruited Matheus Cuha from Wolves, Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford and finally spent a large transfer of RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko star.
After the 2024/25 disaster campaign, MU was determined to start the new season well when they confront Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.
