Chelsea is accelerating in the effort to recruit Xavi Simons, but just accepted the hard warning from RB Leipzig.
RB Leipzig issued a tough warning for Chelsea Xavi Simons
Chelsea had a busy transfer, but coach Enzo Maresca still wanted to add personnel before the market closed on September 1. Xavi Simons is still a top goal. The Dutch midfielder is said to have refused the attention from Man City and Bayern Munich, because he just wanted to head to Stamford Bridge.

RB Leipzig is pricing Simons at about 70 million euros. They had no intention of rushing to leave this bright jade from the Bundesliga. Sports Director Marcel Schafer sent a tough message to Chelsea: The deal only happened if all terms made Leipzig satisfied, both sports and financial.
Sharing in Bild, Schafer stated: “A transfer only takes place if it has both professional and financial significance. If not, Xavi will still be the player of RB Leipzig next year.”
That means Chelsea must act assertive in the last days of the summer market. Time is not much, but the blue shirt team still believes that they can reach an agreement to bring Xavi Simons to London.
In the meantime, Enzo Maresca's teachers and students will return to the Premier League next Friday, in a promising match with West Ham. Earlier, the Blues was held by Crystal Palace without a goal in the opening match at Stamford Bridge. This disappointment results made fans suspicious about Chelsea's championship goal this season.
