Saudi Arabia negotiators now consider making unprecedented offers to recruit Vinicius from Real Madrid, in the context of contract renewal negotiations between the Brazilian player and the Spanish royal team being stagnant.
The 25 -year -old star is currently the most important player in the squad of coach Xabi Alonso. However, British media said Saudi Pro League wanted to turn Vinicius into their next representative face, after Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
Although Vinicius publicly expressed his desire to continue to stay in Real Madrid, and he himself still had a contract until 2027, but the renewal process has not achieved significant progress.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs of Talshort, Saudi Arabia can “challenge the toughness of Real Madrid” with a proposal of a century worth 350 million euros – far beyond the number of 222 million euros that PSG has spent to recruit Neymar from Barca in 2017.
Real Madrid is said to “remain calm” in the situation, despite the slow negotiation progress. Meanwhile, the side of Arabia is ready to ask Vinicius to a 5 -year contract worth about 1 billion euros (including salary and bonus), equivalent to 1.2 billion USD. This offer has been sent in writing in non -binding form.
Although not wanting to leave Europe at the present time, Vinicius is said to be open with the ability to go to Saudi Arabia to play “in a certain period of career.” The Arabia also said they were willing to wait in the next 2 to 3 years, if they could not sign a contract with Vinicius this summer.
According to Jacobs, the club was “chosen to send gold” to recruit Vinicius as Al Ahli, the team now has prominent names such as Ivan Toney, Edouard Mendy, Roberto Firmino or Riyad Mahrez. However, Vinicius will definitely be the biggest stature contract, far beyond the current stars, and asymptotic as the symbolic level like Ronaldo.
While the new contract has not been signed, the interest from Saudi Arabia accidentally is an important “lever” to help Vinicius have a great advantage on the negotiating table with Real Madrid.
Vinicius has launched the first team Real Madrid in 2018 and since then, he has become an indispensable pillar, contributing to 14 major titles including: 3 La Liga and 2 Champions League. The Brazilian player scored 106 goals and had 83 assists after 322 matches, and if the deal occurred, this would be a historic turning point for European football in particular and the world in general.
